Kate Guy
Senior Development Manager
Kate Guy is instrumental in delivering high-quality, masterplanned communities at McConnell Property, with a focus on creating places people genuinely want to live.
She brings extensive experience across residential, commercial, and industrial development, managing projects from origination through to completion. Her expertise includes live zoning and plan change processes, as well as Environment Court proceedings, enabling her to confidently navigate complex planning frameworks.
Kate has contributed to a wide range of developments, including residential communities in Auckland, commercial and industrial projects in the Waikato, and notable projects such as Kawarau Falls Village in Queenstown and MPL’s Teal Apartments in Auckland. More recently, her focus has been on residential land developments across Auckland.
Recognised for her structured approach, Kate consistently delivers projects on time, within budget, and aligned to the overall vision.
Scott McCulloch
Development Consultant
Scott McCulloch brings over 35 years of experience across property development, valuation, and portfolio management. As a Development Consultant supporting McConnell Property’s South Island projects, including Westbury in Rangiora, he provides strategic oversight and deep industry insight to ensure successful project delivery.
Scott was instrumental in establishing McConnell Property’s South Island presence in 2013 and continues to support the team from his Christchurch base. His extensive background includes senior leadership roles, most notably as General Manager of Development (South Island) at Ngāi Tahu Property, where he led a diverse development portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Nick Mitchell
Development Manager
Nick Mitchell is driven by a passion for creating communities that deliver an exceptional quality of life. Working across McConnell Property’s land development portfolio, he brings strong expertise in urban planning and design, helping shape well-considered, liveable environments.
Nick has contributed to a wide range of residential and commercial projects, including large-scale plan changes and, more recently, the development of retirement villages across New Zealand.
He holds a Master of Urban Planning (Professional) and a Master of Urban Design (Honours) from the University of Auckland, along with a Bachelor of Geography from the University of Otago.
